That's a lucky find! I've been usin...Man! That's a lucky find! I've been using the LV Jack rabbet and am really starting like it. I also have the LV skewed rabbet and find it very fiddley and difficult to set up properly. Not so with the Jack Rabbet.<br /><br />Leave it up to Dereck to dream up uses I never imagined. You see a lot of these planes with a broken casting. All it takes is one slight nose dive off the bench and its ruined forever.
